Achim Baumeister advises on all legal issues in the field of intellectual property law, in particular trade mark law, unfair competition law and the law on company signs.
He specialises in strategic advice and litigation, but also in the out-of-court enforcement of industrial property rights and unfair competition law claims as well as in the effective defence against infringement claims.
Achim studied law at the University of Hamburg. During his studies, he also completed the Refugee Law Clinic for voluntary student legal advice. After completing his studies, he worked as a legal research assistant at one of the “Big Four”.
He completed his legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court with stations in the intellectual property department of a major international law firm, at Norddeutscher Rundfunk and in the legal department of a national daily newspaper.
He has been working as a lawyer at HARTE-BAVENDAMM since 2025.
