Johanna Otten is specialized in advising, litigation and dispute resolution in intellectual property law, in particular in trademark and competition law. She also advises national and international companies in extrajudicial and judicial disputes before German and European courts as well as in trademark matters before the EUIPO and the DPMA.
Johanna passed her first state examination in Frankfurt am Main. She then moved to Amsterdam, where she completed her Master's degree (LL.M.) in “European Competition Law and Regulation”.
She completed her legal clerkship in Schleswig-Holstein with stations in the intellectual property department of a prominent international law firm, at the German Parliament and in a law firm in Amsterdam.
She has been working as a lawyer at HARTE-BAVENDAMM since 2025.
